Austin, Texas – Today, trucking industry leaders gathered to open the exhibit hall at the annual American Trucking Associations’ Management Conference & Exhibition.

“The technology and services displayed in this hall will help our members navigate a challenging and changing landscape,” said ATA President and CEO Chris Spear. “I encourage all MCE attendees to spend time on this show floor glimpsing what advances our industry is making in safety, efficiency and sustainability.”

The ATA MCE Exhibit Hall was opened with a ribbon cutting ceremony sponsored by Amazon. The Hall features 175 total exhibitors, including 40 first-time attendees in more than 250,000 square feet.

“Amazon is proud to be a part of ATA’s flagship event, MCE, and to sponsor this ribbon cutting ceremony,” said Marie Druckenmiller, Amazon’s director of transportation. “The exhibit hall demonstrates the cutting-edge technology and advanced innovation taking place across trucking companies and service providers -- from safety, to sustainability, to tech. Collectively these leaders at MCE are propelling our industry forward.”

“The MCE Exhibit Hall is routinely one of the best and most rewarding pieces of this meeting,” said ATA Chairman Dan Van Alstine, president and COO of Ruan Transportation Management Systems. “I hope my fellow members take time to see what our allied community has to offer – because their products and services enhance our ability to bring value and execute on behalf of our customers.”

The ATA MCE Exhibit Hall will remain open through Tuesday.
