Richard Bishop, Founder and CEO, Bishop Consulting

Richard Bishop is the Founder and CEO of Bishop Consulting which provides strategy and partnership development in the domain of intelligent,

connected, and automated vehicles, advising automotive manufacturers, suppliers, and tech firms. Current clients span auto-makers, sensors, AI, automated trucking, automated buses, and infrastructure owner-operators. The firm advises government agencies around the world as well. Prior to establishing Bishop Consulting in 1997, Mr. Bishop was Program Manager for Vehicle-Highway Automation at the USDOT Federal Highway Administration, where he was government lead for the National Automated Highway Systems Consortium. Mr. Bishop serves as 2nd Vice Chair of the American Trucking Association’s Automated and Electric Truck Study Group. He is also founder and chair of the International Task Force on Vehicle Highway Automation, which recently held its 22nd Annual Meeting. He holds engineering degrees from Auburn University and Johns Hopkins University, plus an M.A. Transformational Leadership and Social Change from Tai-Sophia Institute.

Shawn Kerrigan, COO and Co-Founder, Plus

Shawn Kerrigan, Ph.D., is COO and Co-founder at Plus. Under his direction, the company is developing self-driving trucks to enable large-scale commercialization of autonomous transport. Prior to Plus, Shawn was CTO and Co-founder of a hardware and software company in the solar industry. His earlier experience includes investment work at Bridgewater Associates, as well as strategy and operations work at McKinsey & Company. Shawn earned his Bachelor of Science degree from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He received his Master’s and Ph.D. in Engineering from Stanford University, where he conducted research across engineering and computer science, and first worked with artificial intelligence technology.

Lori Heino-Royer, Senior Director Of Strategic Partnerships, Plus

Lori Heino-Royer is Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships at Plus. After spending nearly two decades at Daimler Trucks North America where she held executive roles in technology, strategy and innovation, Lori joined Plus in April of 2021. She uses her deep understanding of the trucking industry to help cultivate and manage relationships with fleets and other industry partners. Lori earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Cincinnati and an M.B.A. from Portland State University. In addition, she holds professional credentials as a Certified Public Accountant and a Project Management Professional.

Bryce Lemmons, General Manger, Signature Transport

Bryce Lemmons is the General Manager at Signature Transport, a 55-year-old transportation company that his grandfather started. He grew up with trucking in his veins. Having started out washing trucks and trailers, working in the shop, driving trucks, and now Bryce and his teams run the day-to-day operations as well as Safety and Compliance in Washington and Maine.

Ruben Cardenas, Senior Vehicle Operator, Plus

Ruben has over 20 years of experience and logged over 2.5 million miles as a Class A driver and owner/operator.  He works closely with Vehicle Operations Specialists and engineers at Plus to help ensure the safest driving operations of the company's fleet of autonomous trucks and trains other drivers to operate PlusDrive. Ruben is a San Francisco Bay area native, and decided to hang up his hat as a owner/operator after starting a family. He joined Plus so that he can be closer to home while still using his trucking skills and experience for a fast-growing tech company.
