The Safety Policy Committee Is responsible for developing ATA policy on driver, carrier and occupational safety and health issues. The current agenda includes hours of service, electronic logging devices, FMCSA’s Compliance, Safety, Accountability program, CDL regulatory and programmatic changes, improvements to the medical certification program, distracted driving, and many others.
