ATA Statement on Signing of USMCA Trade Pact

Arlington, Virginia – American Trucking Associations President and CEO Chris Spear today issued the following statement after leaders of the United States, Canada and Mexico signed the USMCA trade pact during the G-20 Summit in Argentina:

ATA Truck Tonnage Index Jumped 6.3% in October

Arlington, Va. — American Trucking Associations’ advanced seasonally adjusted (SA) For-Hire Truck Tonnage Index jumped 6.3% in October to 119.9 from September’s mark of 112.8.

Sam Faucette Selected as Trucking’s National Safety Director of the Year

American Trucking Associations’ Safety Management Council announced Sam Faucette of Old Dominion Freight Line as the winner of the 2018 National Safety Director Award. The award was presented during the Awards Banquet at the ATA Safety, Security and Human Resources National Conference and Exhibition in Long Beach, California and is the council’s most coveted safety award for trucking executives.
