ATA Truck Tonnage Index Fell 0.4 Percent in June

Arlington, Va. — American Trucking Associations’ advanced seasonally adjusted (SA) For-Hire Truck Tonnage Index fell 0.4% in June after rising 0.4% in May. In June, the index equaled 113 (2015=100), down from 113.4 in May.

Arlington, Va. — American Trucking Associations’ advanced seasonally adjusted (SA) For-Hire Truck Tonnage Index increased 2.2% in April after easing 1% in March. In April, the index equaled 112.5 (2015=100), up from 110.1 in March.

Truckload Turnover Rate Sinks in Final Quarter of 2017

Arlington, Virginia — Today, American Trucking Associations Chief Economist Bob Costello said that the driver turnover rate at truckload carriers fell in the final three months of 2017, but that the rate stayed higher than in the previous year.
