DTC To Absorb DLA’s FOB Freight.

Freight inbound from providers into DOD’s possession normally referred to as FOB (freight on board) is now dubbed “First Destination Transportation” (FDT) freight.

ATA Submits Comments to GSA re: Ending Human Trafficking by FAR Contractors

ATA filed comments in December supporting the GSA/DOD proposed rule for Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) contractors to meet certain requirements that would aid federal agencies in their fight against human trafficking. ATA’s Government Traffic Policy Committee (GTPC) voted overwhelmingly to adopt Truckers Against Trafficking (TAT) as a means for carriers and brokers to meet the requirements expected in the agencies’ final rule, but also kept the door open for FAR contractors to adapt or devise their own program similar to TAT if desired.
