ATA & Nation's Truck Drivers Prepare for Solar Eclipse

American Trucking Associations, along with millions of travelers and 3.5 million American truck drivers, will watch the solar eclipse on August 21. The trucking industry is responsible for moving the nation’s goods during the eclipse and asks for the public’s assistance in ensuring safety on the country’s roads and bridges.






ATA Kicks Off Action at Trucking’s “Super Bowl of Safety”

Today, American Trucking Associations opened competition at the 80th annual National Truck Driving Championships and Step Van Driving Championships being held at the Orange County Convention Center. More than 420 of the trucking industry’s top professional truck drivers began the three-day competition testing their knowledge of the industry, safe driving and ability to perform a thorough pre-trip inspection.

Today, American Trucking Associations revealed a new logo and toolkit for National Truck Driver Appreciation Week 2017 and announced the opening of an online store featuring products aimed at celebrating America’s 3.5 million professional drivers.
