Driver Compensation Study

American Trucking Associations' 2017 Driver Compensation Study

The ATA Economics Department is currently analyzing data for its study on driver pay practices within the trucking industry. The final report is expected to be published by November. We greatly appreciate the time and effort put in by the 131 participating fleets.

This year's study promises to be better than ever, with compensation analysis presented by trailer type at the national and regional levels; more complete examination of performance based compensation practices and other pay trends, such as how fleets address detention time; and better insight into healthcare programs, including driver-paid premiums for medical, dental, and vision insurance.

The final results are expected to be available for purchase through www.ATABusinessSolutions.com by November 10, 2014. In the meantime, please feel free to download a PowerPoint of select finalized data and analysis that was presented at ATA's Management Conference & Exhibition in early October.
