TMC Releases 2018, 2019 Recommended Practices Manual

Arlington, Virginia — Today, American Trucking Associations’ Technology & Maintenance Council released its 2018-2019 Recommended Practices Manual, featuring more than 40 new or revised Recommended Practices, with a goal of increasing equipment maintenance and engineering efficiencies.


TMC and FleetNet America Release Q1 Roadside Breakdown Benchmarks

Raleigh, North Carolina — American Trucking Associations’ Technology & Maintenance Council and FleetNet America, an ArcBest company, released the executive summary of their Truckload Vertical Benchmarking Study from the January – March quarter. There were some surprises in the data when compared to the inaugural October – December period.


ATA Announces TMC’s Fleet Data Management and Cybersecurity Conference

Arlington, Va. – Today, American Trucking Associations announced its Technology & Maintenance Council is hosting TMC’s Fleet Data Management and Cybersecurity Conference, a new event to address best practices in fleet data management and cybersecurity. Attendees will learn how to extract more business value from the data that fleets collect to make cost reporting and operations more efficient. The Conference will have a special focus on leveraging the power of the Council’s Vehicle Maintenance Reporting Standards as well as new breakdown maintenance benchmarking services available through a joint project with FleetNet America.



Registration Opens for ATAs TMC 2018 Annual Meeting

Arlington, Virginia – American Trucking Associations’ Technology & Maintenance Council announced it was opening registration for its 2018 Annual Meeting & Transportation Technology Exhibition, to be held March 5-8 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.




104 Technicians Qualify for TMCSuperTech Finals

Today, American Trucking Associations’ Technology and Maintenance Council announced that 104 competitors have moved on to the finals of the National Technician Skills Competition – TMCSuperTech.

Today, American Trucking Associations’ Technology & Maintenance Council released their 2017 Recommended Practice Supplement, featuring 58 new or revised Recommended Practices, with a goal of increasing equipment maintenance efficiencies. The RP Supplement is a TMC member benefit but also available for purchase on CD-ROM or print.
